Any new or exchange Ford or Motorcraft part which becomes defective due to faulty manufacture or materials will be repaired or replaced free of charge by a Ford Authorized Dealer. This warranty applies for 12 months from the date of parts or accessory purchase and unlimited mileage, with the exception of:
- cambelts, spark plugs, filters and wiper replacement blades
(12 month or next due service) - alarms, clutch assemblies, economy exhausts and shock absorbers
(24 months/unlimited mileage) - batteries, original equipment quality exhausts, ignition lead sets
(36 months/unlimited mileage) - sheet metal body parts (6 years/unlimited mileage, subject to conditions of Ford Perforation Warranty)
Labour charges will only be reimbursed if a Ford Authorized Dealer carries out the repair or replacement.
